Album Tracker is a music and CD organizer software program. It is an easy way to catalog and track your music collection. For each album or CD, a number of data fields (17) can be entered. These include musician or artist, title, producer, location, category or genre, and many more. Each of these can be customized for your music collection. For example, where we have category you may want to call that genre. Once you make the change in the program it is saved and all the print outs and other places where category once was will now way genre. There is a list of all the albums or CDs on the main screen. The music list can be sorted by Title or Artist. A smaller list of a specific category of music can be shown by selecting the tab above. If you want to see just jazz titles then select the jazz tab. You can easily browse through titles making changes or adding in additional detail about each album. There is also a graphic you can enter that will show as you browse through. This can be anything you want like the CD cover or a picture of the band or musician. There are larger text fields for information like song lists or a music review of the CD. Print outs of sorted information or labels can also help to organize your music collection. Other features to help in cataloging music include a search feature for large collections, librarian features if you loan your CDs, export to .csv files for using the data in other programs, and help.
